Each date is between four and six minutes long. It all depends on how many people will be in attendance. However long your HurryDate dates are, you are going to have a blast!

Well, you certainly aren't going to be picking out baby names (we hope not anyway!), but before the whistle blows you should be able to tell if they can string a sentence together to your liking, if they have a smile that makes you weak in the knees or if there is a vibe between you. It's just the right amount of time so you can feel out someone you may like but aren't stuck talking to someone you don't for too long!

HurryDaters tend to dress casual, but are lookin’ good! Think about what you would wear on a first date to feel comfortable and good about yourself. You are going on lots of first dates after all! Some people come straight from work, so your work clothes with an extra primping in the mirror is just fine too. Guys, keep in mind that you will be the ones rotating around the room, so extra bags, jackets, etc. are not recommended.

The best piece of advice we can give you about coming to a HurryDate party is JUST HAVE FUN! Occasionally we have seen HurryDaters treat each of their dates like a job interview…this is a definite DON’T! Rattling off your résumé in under three minutes isn’t the best way to gauge if you have a good rapport with someone. While easier said than done, if you take a deep breath, put a smile on your face and relax, you are going to have a great time and have the best chances of connecting with someone you really like.

We don’t ID at HurryDate (although the venue may!) If you are older or younger than the age range for a particular party, that’s fine! Our party ages are actually just suggestions as most of the people that attend fall within this range. However, please note that this may affect the number of matches you receive as the other participants are most likely interested in meeting someone in this age range.

We know it’s SO very frustrating. We wish we can accommodate everyone, but sometimes our HurryDate parties sell out super quickly. Be sure to put yourself on the waiting list or standby list for any parties that are sold out (you can check the status of an event on the individual event detail page to find out if these options are available). Also, keep checking back to the website because sometimes spots open up at the last minute. We post new parties every 6-8 weeks so check out your city page frequently. If the location of a HurryDate party you see listed on our website has not been posted you can keep checking back on your city page. After you RSVP, to attend a HurryDate you’ll be able to log-in to your homepage and see all the parties you are registered to attend and all the updated information about it. We’ll also be sending you a reminder e-mail a day or so before the event that will contain all kinds of important info.

If you no longer see an event on our website, it probably means the event was changed. Be sure to sign up in advance for an event so you can stay up to speed on any changes. If you are registered for an event that you no longer see on the website, it means the event was changed. Check your email for notifications of changes.

HurryDate is based on certain numbers of participants. We watch those numbers carefully, so don't you worry, there will be plenty of matches to go around! Unfortunately we can’t tell you how many people are signed up for an event ahead of time, but come on down…you’ll have a blast!

Unfortunately we can’t. But you should have your friend try to RSVP and then put his or her name on the “waiting list” or “standby list” if there are spots available. The “waiting list” will allow them to try to get members of the opposite sex to sign up for the same HurryDate party. If they do register in time, your friend will be able to participate. If they sign up for the “standby list” they will pay a small fee to take the chances that someone will not show up the night of the party. They’ll have to come on down to the event to see if there are any no-shows. They can also attend with you for moral support and just not participate. This way they will be able to hang out with you as you mingle before and after the HurryDating. If a spot becomes available, we can always put them into the fun. Unfortunately we won't be able to tell you ahead of time how many people are on the waiting list or standby list to tell you what their chances of getting in will be. Sorry!

When you made your reservation you agreed to our Rescheduling Policy. Here it is again for your reference with instructions on how to reschedule your reservation IF, and only if, it meets our policy guidelines. We apologize for any inconvenience.

HurryDate Rescheduling Policy: The success of HurryDate events depends on participant attendance. Therefore, if you cannot attend an event you have registered for, please let us know. If you cancel at least five business days prior to the date of the event you are registered for, you will be permitted to reschedule and attend another event. Please be aware that you will only be allowed to reschedule one time per reservation and we do not issue refunds on any reservations.

We cannot reschedule you to another date or issue you a refund if you cancel within five business days of the event you are signed up for. Unfortunately we do not offer rescheduling or refunds on standby list passes or if you are confirmed to attend after signing up for the waiting list.

If your rescheduling request meets our policy guidelines, there will be a $5 non-refundable change fee that will be applied to your credit card. You will be issued a code to allow you to RSVP for any other HurryDate event of your choosing (subject to availability).

Unfortunately, much like any event ticket your purchase, we do not offer refunds on events you have registered for and cannot attend. Our Frequent Dater program is a nifty thing to let you come to HurryDate for free! After you have purchased three HurryDates, you get a fourth one...for FREE! Watch the counter on your personal homepage to see how many you have left to go. After you’ve participated in your third HurryDate, we’ll automatically email you with a code that’ll allow you to come to another one for free! That code will also appear on your Frequent Dater status page that you can access from your personal homepage after logging in. Please note: Your free Frequent Dater event will be issued to you after each third event that you attend. The free event will only be issued once this event has actually taken place. Only paid events qualify for the Frequent Dater Program. Free events or paid events that you attend complimentary, including those that are awarded free as a Frequent Dater reward, do not accrue towards Frequent Dater credit.

Hooray! We are so glad you were able to HurryDate with us after all. Your host will be entering in your name into our handy dandy event system to let us know that you actually got to participate. The host should do this within 24 hours after the party. If you were a walk-in, you will receive an email within 24 hours with instructions on how to log in. If you were a standby, check back to the site within 24 hours and you should be able to log in.

When you subscribed, you checked a box that indicated you understood that HurryDate Online is a subscription service that is renewed automatically five days prior to the end of each billing period. In order to ensure that you are not be billed for a new billing period, be sure to cancel more than five days prior to the end of your current billing period. Why would you want to do that? Well, we hope it's because you met someone through HurryDate! Instead of deleting your profile why not hide it from view... that way you can come back at any time. Do this by logging in, clicking "My Account" in the upper right corner, clicking "Profile and Matching Preferences" and then selecting the options you would like. That way no one can see it except for your Party Matches. If you would like your profile deleted altogether, please email us here and we'll remove your profile in a few days. PLEASE NOTE: if you are registered for a HurryDate party, you will not be able to delete your profile or you will not be able to receive and access your Party Matches.
