After having exchanged 100's of profiles and meeting many women, I came across Gayle's profile. I knew after reading it that I thought we would make a great match, and I sent her a note. Gayle responded and I knew that I had found the person I would spend the rest of my life with.
For our first date, I picked up Gayle at her home, and we went for dinner. Our reservation was at 6 p.m., and we stayed at the restaurant for 5 1/2 hours talking, laughing and smiling the whole evening.
Since we had both been in marriages prior, and we both had sons about the same age, 3-5, we shared some common things. We also had both dated other people in the past year and half. When I finally found Gayle, the timing was right.
We both learned a lot from our past experiences, and we decided to take it slow. It was about our fourth week of dating when Gayle knew I was the man she had been looking for her whole life.
After two and a half months of dating, we took our first vacation together. We went to the Dominican Republic, Punta Cana "Secrets Resorts." We left the boys behind and had a truly romantic vacation.
We want our boys to be happy so we decided to be proactive and seek professional guidance so that we could be prepared for the issues that might arise in our new family. We are planning to get engaged sometime in April or May. Gayle does not know it but I plan to ask her to marry me when we take our boys to Hershey Park.
